AROUND COPPERHEAD

Welcome to The North Georgia Mountains! There is darn near something for everyone up in this part of the World! From Hiking mountain tops, to skipping across the water on a Jet Ski, or cruising thru the hills feeling the air on your face,  and everything in between - there is sure be something to soothe your soul near The Copperhead Lodge and Resort!

Driving and Riding

Explore some of the most amazing roads in the World just around the corner!  Wether you're into cars, mudding or motorcycles - there is a road or trail for you!

Checkout  our  very own Copperhead Lodge Ride "The Gauntlet" and The Tail of the Dragon if you're into twists, turns, fast corners and incredible views!

If  mudding and trail riding is more your speed - check one of several OHV trails in the area! From beginner to expert - there's one for everyone!

Shopping & Dining

Just 5 minutes up the road is Downtown Blairsville! It's old world charm and character lend itself to some lovely shopping and dining options

15 minutes west is Downtown Blue Ridge! Be sure to shop downtown and take a ride on Train! There is a wide selection of dining and shopping to fit something for everyone!

Hiking

From Bell Mountain, Brasstown Bald, Vogel State Park and hiking right here along the creek at the Lodge - you can find all sorts of trails, cuts, hollers and ridges to run around on! Particular points of interest are  Bell Mountain and Brasstown Bald (highest point in Georgia!)

Watersport

With 3 large lakes less than 15 minutes away in any direction, plus ample streams, creeks and rivers - there is a water activity for all! The large lakes like Blue Ridge, Nottley and Chatuge all have access to rental equipment like boats, jet skis, pontoons and paddle boards! There are also ample guides in the area that will take you for fishing expeditions on any of the larger rivers, Toccoa being the most popular!

Tubing is a big deal up here! There are several locations to check out and utilize during your stay! Stop by the Front Desk for directions and information on who's open and who has the best current for the day! ***BEWARE*** Rain and Storms will impact river conditions, even if the storm isn't local to our area, they could still current impact the local river system! Always call and check conditions before venturing out!
